Head Agent's Office, INDF Headquarters, Demarque

Eusebio calmly sat in the leather chair opposite Robert Durango.
"Hehe, I enjoyed the shocked look on Dmitri's face when he couldn't find my supposedly dead body in the Khari Factory." Eusebio smiled. "I was glad when I finally came out of hiding and overloaded his body with bullets."
"I see. Dmitri was the guard that killed Zumba. You must be glad to give him the 'worst death' then." Robert chuckled.
"Not really. It did not really feel as good as I then thought it would be. I have changed, Robert." Eusebio sighed. Indeed, Eusebio had changed. Compared to his tall, thin frame during that mission to Namibia, he was now muscular and and supremely fit. His sad brown eyes were now piercing and bright. Also, he now spared selected enemies on his missions, albeit bringing them to a INDF rehabilitation center in Oslo, Norway. However, if the mission required no survivors, he obliged.
Agent Residences, Demarque
28 June, 1999, 1504 hours
Eusebio sat at the coffeeshop located on the first floor of the Agent Residences. He had ordered two lattes, the other being for...
Allen smiled at Eusebio as he took his seat.
"So? Have you forgiven me regarding the sparing of Dmitri?" Eusebio stirred his latte, giving Allen a quizzical, almost humorous look.
"Oh, man. That was years ago, dude! Of course! Anyway, you already finished the Dmitri guy off. Of course I forgive you! I did that the day after the incident, you know," Allen leaned back in his chair, smiling.
"Well, you didn't tell me until now..." Eusebio gave a mock frown and raised his eyebrow, "You irresponsible man, you left me guilty for over 5 years!"
"You knew didn't you?" Allen look surprised.
"What do you think?!" Eusebio feigned disgust.
"No...?" Allen quizzed.
"Of course I know you dumbbell!" Eusebio chuckled. The i-am-not-impressed look on Allen's face was a funny sight to see. "How about David?" Eusebio asked between spurts of laughter.
"Yes, but I might decide to rescind that decision..." Allen glared at Eusebio.
"Now, now, don't take this too heart. Your facial expression is mightily amusing!" Eusebio sputtered as he tried to stop laughing.
"Just joking! Haha! Got you!" Allen stuck his tongue out.
"Got me for what?" Eusebio said, "You have your brain in a twist, Allen. You don't really know what is a joke."
Before Allen could answer, however, Eusebio's agent phone rang. Picking it up, he immediately became serious.
"What was that all about?" Allen asked after Eusebio ended the call, "What happened?"
"David called from headquarters. Seems like a serious situation to me. He was rushing so he did not have time to give me the full details. We'd better head to HQ now."
"Oh! Then we really better get going!"
Both Eusebio and Allen put the empty cups back on the counter, thanked the cashier, and sprinted towards Eusebio's car and drove into the distance...
